What a nice stay, no complaint. Modest property with exceptional stuff and efficient location in the area. Excellant design, amazing service in the entire hotel. Everything perfect. Location just next door to Pontefract in the late sixties, wall and restaurant.

My favourite property in Pontefract. Fairly clean, family-run hotel. Fabulous food for breakfast.

I spent New Year at this hotel, and I have to say the beautiful grounds were a highlight - so picturesque, especially with all the surrounding wildlife! It's also conveniently located near key attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were super friendly and accommodating too, which made the experience a bit better.
We barely got any sleep with the thumping music shaking the furniture! Plus, the breakfast experience was chaotic – poor service and dirty tables made it frustrating. Definitely not what I expected for a festive stay!

Would recommend for a short layover
Beautiful grounds, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, the hotel features lovely terraces overlooking a lily pond, and the room I stayed in was a spacious Executive Double Room complete with a tv and tea/coffee making facilities, all conveniently located a short drive from the M62 at Junction 32.
Everything was exactly right.

Family with children overall good experience
The service was friendly, just like when we arrived and were welcomed with smiles and warmth. The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, easy to get a good night's sleep, perfect for when you got kids with you.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but you got what you paid for.

The beautiful food offered was a highlight, and the staff in the restaurant were really good. Unfortunately, the stay was marred by a tiny room with no natural light and a view into staff quarters. The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable, with dust and hair all over. Despite pleasant grounds and a lovely wedding, I felt the service during the events was inadequate due to insufficient staffing.

Comfortable Stay with Amazing Dining Experience!
Enjoyed a good dinner with really good service that left a lasting impression! The staff was friendly, and the ambiance suited our family perfectly. Breakfast could use more variety, but asking for specifics helped. Pro tip, request your breakfast preference in advance for a smoother experience.

The stay was quite nice overall, especially with the lovely garden and spacious room. It made our family outing enjoyable, providing a pleasant atmosphere for both adults and children to relax. The staff were friendly when we interacted with them, and the location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions. A bit more attention to the breakfast variety would be appreciated, though.

The venue has beautiful grounds that are perfect for weddings, and the staff were friendly. The room layout was odd, and cleanliness could use some improvement, especially in the bathroom. Kings Croft has potential but could enhance guest experience further.

Enjoyed the clean bungalow with a nice patio area and a tv. The room had all the essentials like a hairdryer, electric kettle, and free toiletries. The breakfast was decent, but a bit basic. The gardens were lovely for a stroll, and the staff were great, providing great service. Definitely worth considering for a peaceful getaway.
